Provision of medical services to municipalities and organisations

We offer the municipality the option of providing services (medical examinations for employees) at our diagnostic centres to ensure their safety and health through medical examinations as part of preventive medicine.

These examinations are conducted on a phased basis, i.e., annually, such as microbiological tests, at the discretion of occupational physicians and when indicated.

Ensuring the medical fitness of employees and conducting preventive examinations of the workforce nowadays becomes a task of vital importance. It is the responsibility of every business to recognise that the fundamental prerequisite for success and quality is investment in the human resources of municipalities and organisations.

Preventive medical examinations for employees can be conducted in a suitably equipped space within municipal facilities so as not to disrupt the operational environment of the service.

AEGEAN Medical offers include but are not limited to:

• Blood tests, biochemical tests, urine tests, COVID-19 tests, and more, performed by a specialist microbiologist

• Diabetes screening, blood sugar testing, and HbA1c testing, performed by an internist

• Spirometry with a pulmonologist

• Electrocardiogram (ECG) and cardiac echocardiogram (echo) with a cardiologist

• Chest X-ray and upper and lower abdominal ultrasounds with a radiologist, as well as several other tests

At AEGEAN Medical Service, recognising the needs that arise – especially during the summer months – we are able to partner with municipalities to provide an ambulance, staffed with specialised medical and nursing personnel and paramedics, so that residents can feel safe even in the most remote areas.
